LINDSAY'S BACK TO DRIVING, TWEETING - Lindsay Lohan is out of rehab and on the road. A day after her release Tuesday, LiLo headed to the DMV and got her driver's license re-instated. By yesterday (Thursday) morning she was seen cruising around in her Maserati. She then headed to Twitter to rant about photographers. Her first post-jail tweet reads, "Clearly, paparazzi shouldn't be allowed to take pictures or video while someone's driving or at a stop light."...Her license had been suspended before she was locked up in relation to her 2007 DUI cases.

HEIDI SAYS SPLIT WAS HER FAULT - Before you go blaming Spencer Pratt for destroyed his marriage, listen to what Heidi Montag has to say. She tells Life and Style magazine that her love of plastic surgery led to the couple's demise. "Spencer begged me not to get the first surgery and it almost broke up our relationship. Then he begged me not to get the second one and it did break our relationship."...But Heidi's not too happy with the work she's had done. "I've had my nose tape on 24 hours a day since November. The tape is supposed to keep the swelling down and hold my nose in place the way [the doctor] sculpted it. I don't want my nose to fall off like Michael Jackson's."

No autotuning here, say `American Idol' producers - A furor over whether Simon Cowell's British talent show "The X Factor" electronically altered contestant voices has prompted "American Idol" to make a pre-emptive strike..."We have never, nor would we ever, use Auto-Tuning during the 'American Idol' competition," producers of the Fox show said in a statement Thursday...Fans of "The X Factor" have alleged online that pitch-correction software was used to alter some performances. The show's producers responded to the outcry by acknowledging that post-production was used to correct for the interplay of the various microphones used during filming.

Levi Johnston takes back his apology to Palin - Levi Johnston, the father of Sarah Palin's grandson, says he wishes he hadn't apologized for telling lies about the former Alaska governor because he's "never lied about anything."...Johnston said in an interview on CBS'"The Early Show" to air Friday that he wishes that he hadn't issued the apology to Palin..."I don't really regret anything," Johnston said, who has appeared nude on the cover of Playgirl. Detective Vic Paladino says Timbaland is concerned the thief is someone he knows.

Henson donates original Kermit to Smithsonian - The original Kermit the Frog, his body created with an old dull-green coat and his eyes made of pingpong balls, has returned home to the nation's capital, where the puppet got his start...The first Kermit creation from Jim Henson's Muppet's collection appeared in 1955 on the early TV show "Sam and Friends," produced at Washington's WRC-TV. Henson's widow Jane Henson on Wednesday donated 10 characters from the show to the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History.
