 It's the annual CFX - I-RIDE Caravan of Care at Morey Courts! 


It's time again for the annual CFX - IRIDE Caravan of Care at Morey Courts in Mt. Pleasant and we need YOUR help!

All of your donations are being collected so we can help out The Salvation Army food pantry, CAFE (Child and Family Enrichment Council), The Isabella Community Soup Kitchen, The Stone Soup Project, and Clare Food Pantry. Items needed are non-perishable & perishable foods, personal, and household items such as paper towels or toothpaste.  


The CFX - IRIDE Caravan of Care begins Monday, January 28th, but you can drop off donations early at the following businesses:  (January 14-27)

CFX Studio's, 5847 Venture Way, Mt. Pleasant.

Partners In Style, 1635 E. Broomfield, Mt. Pleasant: for every non-perishable item donated, you will get a dollar toward salon services or products. 

Celebration Cinema, 4935 E. Pickard, Mt. Pleasant: from January 16th-27th donate two non-perishable items and get a free medium popcorn.

 Veteran’s Memorial Library in Mt Pleasant & all Chippewa River District Library Branches - Food for Fines, January 14th - 27th, for non-perishable item donated at the libraries, they will take $1 off any overdue fines.

Members First Credit Union, Mt. Pleasant (Bluegrass & Broadway/Isabella) are additional drop off locations (January 14-January 27)

 Members First Credit Union, Clare (west 5th street) and Harrison (1 mile North of the State Park in Harrison) are collecting for The Stone Soup Project and The Clare Food Pantry. (January 14-Feb 1)


Donations will be collected all week during the Caravan of Care

-Drop items off from 6am-8pm at Morey Courts, Monday-Thursday, January 28th - 31st and Friday February 1st from 6am - 2pm.

-Food For Fare Day with IRIDE is Wednesday, January 30th - Pay the amount of your fare in food, donated to the Caravan of Care.


*Don’t forget to take part in our CFX $95 Challenge! We challenge businesses in the community to meet or beat our $95 donation to the Caravan of Care!

Supplies: Envelopes, Printer and Copy Paper, Laundry Detergent, Bleach, Scouring Pads and Powder, Degreaser, Plastic Bags (grocery bags), Dish Soap, Paper Towels and Napkins, Plastic Wrap, Aluminum Foil, Storage Bags (Quart and Gallon), Small size brown paper towels (#4980761 available at GFS for towel dispensers) Styrofoam Coffee Cups, Styrofoam Soup Bowls, Disposable Cups, Trash Bags (13, 33, 60 gallon heavy duty), Plastic and Vinyl Food Handling Gloves, and Plastic Tubs (Such as Cool Whip or Butter Bowls for daily takeout meals).


CAFE (Child and Family Enrichment Council

Client Services: Individual wrapped snacks - (granola bars, peanut butter/cheese, crackers, goldfish or animal crackers, etc.), Bottled Water, Packages of individual drink mixes (like Crystal Light), Individual juice boxes, Batteries – AA, AAA, 9 volt, Children’s DVD’s, Pipe cleaners, Beads, Patio or camp chairs, Outdoor toys and games, Fencing, Writeable DVD’s, Small gift cards (i.e., Meijer, Wal-Mart), Gas only gift cards, Disposable coffee cups with lids, Coffee, cream and sugar

 CLEANING SUPPLIES: Cleaning supplies (Clorox wipes, Lysol, Windex, air fresheners), Liquid hand soap, Trash bags, 30 gallon and 13 gallon sizes, Paper products (plates, napkins, paper towels, toilet paper, Kleenex)

 GENERAL NEEDS:, Tablets of paper (8 ½ x 11), ½” 1″, 2″ 3 ring binders, File folders, 5 tab page dividers, Flash drives, Copy paper (white & colored), Dry erase markers and board cleaner, Carpet shampooer, Stamps, Spray bottles

 SPECIAL NEEDS: Driveway gravel, Trees removed, Drywall, Carpet, Drop ceiling, Sound proofing materials, Patio pavers


Clare Food Pantry

Non Perishable items such as: Pasta’s , cereal, Hamburger Helper, jelly, canned meats such as tuna fish and or chicken , peanut butter. 


Stone Soup Project

Non-perishable items such as: Salad dressings, Ground Coffee (regular and decaf), Tea, Ketchup, Mustard, Condensed soups, Spices, Instant mashed potatoes, Rice, Canned fruit, Canned veggies, baked beans, canned tomatoes/sauces, flour, noodles, Vegetable/canola oil, beef and chicken soup base, Paper Towels, Napkins, Food Service Gloves, Dish soap, bleach, Zip loc bags of all sizes, Zip loc freezer bags, parchment paper, wax paper, ink pens.


Salvation Army

Non-perishable items such as: Mac-N-Cheese, Canned Soups, Pasta's, Canned Meats, Bathroom products (Shampoo, Soap, Shaving Needs, Toilet Paper, ect), Laundry Soap (Powder works the best).
